i was just reading this post and if this is the only prototype then whats the one currently on ebay with the ply bottom?
My thoughts are that my board (from Marc Sinclair) was their first speed board prototype and the ply bottom is another phase they were trying as a cost reduction by using the ...

31" Kicktail model. I've seen one or two out of the factory with no built-in risers. I have a 27" Freestyle with routs but no risers.

Shame it was drilled for new truck hole pattern - quite a rare beastie. Added value with JP signature too.
