Crazy that , it’s weird now anything half decent seems to fetch really high money , there’s nothing hardly around nowadays I don’t look much now but when you do it’s almost all complete junk

yep most of the good stuff is stashed away in collections nowadays, theres still plenty of utter shit around though like you say with sellers asking for insane money which they will never get even a fraction of

Looking for a Henderson Mk II if you ever come across one. Will sort of complete the collection. As well all know things are either crap or getting expensive so given it's the last BB I will probably ever buy, I may have to pay up for something reasonable.

very little interest in the sablosky,in my mind these should be £400 decks as the workmanships great and this was a mint example, unfortunately they dont seem to be saught after like all the big name stuff, bad time to end it also, although im sure any hardened collector would have still bid.

Yes as said not bad for nowadays , looks a decent ish one as well, I got given my first benjy and I was so impressed with the quality of it I ended with about 30 now , not a mark 2 Henderson though Michael above re your question, most of my sablosky were 100 and odd quid but that was years back before the big prices started

‘I’m sure any hardened collector would have still bid’

I scored this one. Decent price for its condition although no signature sticker.

@punkboy You still have any more of those Sablosky stickers?

good win 8-) unfortunately the stickers are well gone now,i had to order a min amount of 6 last time so sold 2 to the guy who was after them and then it took me forever to sell the rest as theres no demand for them  ill ask my sticker guy but its been yrs now so he may not even have the orig file/sample anymore

as said get some pics up,hardly anyone bothers apart from the hardcore few

ive never seen this logo before on a lollipop, only in an advert, anyone got more info? was it a real early design?
Yes, This was the first iteration of the Lollipop deck. Painted in a choice of three top colours. Red, Blue and Lime green (never saw a green one)

All were yellow underside. First sold without griptape, then in the August '78 edition of Skateboard! mag they show a B&W photo of a painted one with the lips and tongue die-cut tape which went on to be standard on the plain wood models (with the large BB screen print) a bit later.

Some photos...

The bottom photo is one that I recently made myself using the later model as the template!
