It's Simon from Poole skateshop - still the oldest surviving in the country I believe. I dropped in & saw him when I was there last month. Believe me, they're all legit & he is about to unload a ton of stuff on the market. All good quality as well.

I thought so too, maybe an older photo of an earlier setup prior to the recent sale. Could they be the same trucks but with the addition of bearing spacers to mount narrower wheels?

Was wondering if the delay in it being snapped up could be due to the early Beadle trucks having different hole centres to the standard old school dimensions, can anyone confirm?

I snagged that one! purely for the rare 6" 2nd stage trucks! Now refurbed and fitted to my equally rare 1978 Beadle 'Rocker'

keeping it british i suppose
i wonder if that lollipop was a factory second or something with that large knot hole underneath the rear wheel? so wasnt screened? maybe someone had a sticker made at a later date, wheres the benjy experts?
I've seen a few of these (mostly NOS) with a decal instead of screened graphic. I have one myself. I think these were the residual stocks just before Benjy folded and to get shot, they made vinyl stickers. Wood, and die-cut grip are all legit.
Pacific Coast Vintage in France had quite a few IIRC

the good thing about collecting stuff from the uk is that you can normally pick it up cheap, apart from bb stuff of course

Yeah also wrong base plates and missing BB inbuilt risers. Assuming this is a variant of the 27” / 32” freestyle deck?
Any thoughts?

31" Kicktail model. I've seen one or two out of the factory with no built-in risers. I have a 27" Freestyle with routs but no risers.
Shame it was drilled for new truck hole pattern - quite a rare beastie. Added value with JP signature too.

im personally not one for signatures as i think they spoil the looks of the board but if your a brit collector then itll be ideal for someone
