Vintage 1970s skateboard forum

1970s laminate dual wood board by star ski , late 70s I’d say 77/78 , don’t know any info on this firm but I have seen a few of the boards I think it’s a U.K. brand , we’ll made and nice graphics , if anyone knows a bit more about this brand please post up

Yes it’s a nice made board , I bought it 4 years ago off eBay only opened box other day

i think you should track nathan webster down and give it back to him i bet that would bring a few memories back

On the underside there is a sticker but can’t quite see it. Does it say a manufacturer name?? . I’ve got one of these on the way just wanted to do a little research.

Hiya Shaun I posted this pic up months since and I’ve stashed the board somewhere in house since , it does have something in England and something limited it’s just not clear to see on the pics you can nearly make it out maybe some boffin on here may know

Ok cheers for that. Shame it’s a little blurry. I did notice the post goes back a bit.
I’ll do a little digging around see what I can find out.
