Here’s a really rare Manx slalom pro deck , got this off Steve on here ( bloody nice bloke)
, this deck is all British throughout , the deck itself is a Manx slalom deck and was new old stock Steve bought it from the Anstee old shop stock which was all sold off a fair few years back , Anstee was an old school skate shop back in the day and a few years back a member of the family sold off all the old shop stock mostly on eBay they’d had from back in the day , all new old stock there were benjyboards galore and some really rare stuff that fetched megabucks , Steve said this was the only thing he managed to buy out of it as everything else went for fortunes , I’ve never seen a Manx deck ever only in the ads in magazines from bitd, this deck dates to 1978 , Steve who’s a British skateboard guru if he doesn’t mind me saying equipped this deck with som new old stock sky slalom trucks which were made in Macclesfield I think and some new old West Country big reds wheels which again you never hardly see I’ve nicked Steve’s pics to put on here , not worth a fortune or anything but a really interesting skateboard and I thank Steve for selling me it anyway here’s some pics , I’d be interested if anybody else has got any Manx board pics

wow, those rear trucks dont leave much overhang,i think it needs a good shake down run
like you they were a deck you only ever saw in the mags, certainly nobody round this way ever had one, some of anstees stash never made it to ebay, several of the decks went straight out to the states, the only thing i got off him was a set of wings, the dub con type ones with the white lettering, wish i hadnt sold them as they were beauties

It's a homebrewed deck, the red fade was copied from one of anstee's old stock, I'm interested in the construction of the original, looks like the one here has the fibreglass in it, not all did, despite what the advert said!
Must make another one with a closer construction to the original
