Stroker trucks
Re: Stroker trucks
Just messing about and thought I’d see what strokers looked like on a Benjyboard, really impressed with the strokers although a lot of money for what they are if you think they are twice the price of a decent set of gullwing sit doesn’t seem so bad , i quite like the rawness of the finish on these , massively over engineered really

Re: Stroker trucks
Handy bit of info the 2 versions of stroker trucks the first version circa 1976 had a flat piece of metal rather than a threaded bar cicrca 1977 to 1978 connecting the swing arm to the pinion see pics
Re: Stroker trucks
i never knew that, so the early ones werent as adjustable then, mind you i think you would need to be a pro slalom rider to be able to fine tune them to the ultimate ,and shave off a few thousands of a second looking at the early ads they were pictured like that so there must have been a fair few sets made before they upgraded the design but i cant ever recall seeing any for sale, only the later type
Re: Stroker trucks
Yep just another bit of useless info I found , as you say you could adjust every bit on these trucks amazing really but probably useless , problem is probably what you found when you have these trucks you end up not using them as with the different mounting hole arrangement if you’ve got a deck pre drilled for normal trucks you’d have to drill an additional 2 holes for these or if you’ve got an undrilled deck and drill out for these if you ever take them off you’d have to drill another 2 holes to mount normal trucks so make a mess of either deck , I keep looking for a deck which has only had strokers on in the past so I can mount them
Re: Stroker trucks
look for another turner, thats prob your best bet, other than the price
Re: Stroker trucks
Just seen this on Facebook with a conversion plate so original mounting holes on deck could be used not sure if was rideable like that but cool idea
Re: Stroker trucks
that looks you can make a plate that sits in place of the orig truck,no idea why they have moved it that far forward
Re: Stroker trucks
this is one i did for display but if you made it out of aluminium then you could ride it also
