The shape of the grip tape is more like a G&S side cut tan any sims I can think of. I’m pretty sure these decks we’re made by Wee Willi Winkles so the grip job is likely to tie in with other decks he was making at the time and Z believe he did make decks for Sims.

I went! (I had a couple of Benjyboards in the exhibition). Got to see them all again!
Max Kirsten, Kadir Guirey, Henderson, Sablosky (First time back in the UK since 1979!), Sinclair, Paul Sully, Floater.
Missing were, Darren Boner, Pete Stern and Jules Gayton, but he skyped in for Marc Sinclair's birthday celebration.

Plus all the Logos team among so many others!!

Just watched Winstons film was gutted to miss the Friday as out of the country made it down to Southbank on Saturday but wish I had changed my travel plans.

Ahh found it the one for 300 quid I presume they are pretty scarce but really are a budget board I’d only buy one of them if it was dirt cheap just for interests sake personally

yep thats it,like you say budget jobbie but so was the lollipop and folk seem to pay good money for them,itll be interesting to see what it fetches as its way rarer than a lollipop too

Yeah good price, better deck than the previous one which sold recently and cheap compared to one going for £650

Acs651’s are run of the mill, although fetching good money, Kryptonics seem In very good nick too, maybe someone wanted the deck?

the benjyflex did well at £420 posted, trucks n wheels were prob only worth £120 so shows theres still folk out there who want them, i wonder what a nos one would have fetched? i bet theres a load stashed away in some dusty old warehouse or shed somewhere
anyone know all the colours that they were made in? ive seen blue and red but cant recall seeing any others

I’m thinking there was yellow but could be thinking of the lollipop,

Price was pretty crazy but It’s very rarely they come up, whether that means they are very rare is another matter,

As you say someone could be sitting on a few boxes like The SkateShop was with the first Sablosky and Shiner I think it was with the Whitelightenings 20 odd years ago.

Wonder what this one is worth? Mark Mayers restored it for me years ago, and kept the original sticker. I've never seen another one for sale since.
