I was wondering were the wheels rare due to their size, Pretty sure that’s a roller skate brand , unless they were big around the turn of the century Luge era rather than Signal Hill erapunkboy wrote: Mon Apr 12, 2021 11:36 am whats going on here then with all those bids? the trucks are prob worth around £100 or so and a home made deck? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SKATEBOARD-V ... I’m pretty sure I must have sold these wheels and risers at one stage, but does any one know anything about the OMNI-COMP brand ? I can find them on a price list type ads in Skateboarder Mag but can’t see any individual ads.

I think I only have a few conical sets left. nfs

ive never seen any radiused ones before,i always assumed they were all flatbacks, like you say not a wheel you see very often
Re: eBay stuff , post any links in here to anything interesting on eBay/forums marketplace etc.
theres a set of radiused ones on ebay now,do you think the manufacturers just put the radius on the back of a standard wheel? i remember trying to do the same with a surform back in the day lol https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/70s-DEAD-STO ... Sw1M9gdyjz

Yeah they seem to be machined or lathed like Sims Comp II (or was it Snakes)
I think that’s all my old stock coming back to market I honestly had about 10 sets of these that I bought from the states with the riser pads in the early 2000’s
I tried dying one set yellow but it didn’t really take.
They seem good quality wheels but I have never ridden them

yeah it was the early sims comp 2 that had the radiused backs then i think they switched to the conical versions, its funny how stuff comes back up for sale again that you used to own,ive seen loads of my old gear reappear over the years, ive bought a couple of items back again but refuse to pay twice the price that i sold it for originally if some dyed ones come up then you will deffo know they were yours

Picked this Buttlock Special up off eBay for £31 delivered, Nice enough wee deck when I have time I’ll drill it out and set it up with some ACS Trucks probably 500’s or 580’s and some British wheels of some sort.
