Not really interested in these selling I’m just listing these for the most part to showcase how much flex i have on all of you, just showing these to show you that I have so much heat that is incomparable in the whole market of reselling skateboard and roller skate apparel!!!!"

Was wondering what the general consensus was on private listings and multiple accounts?
I’ve noticed items purchased on one account which then seem to pop up on another user account, and then go on to sell at a possible inflated price with many reoccurring bids.......As an eBay user since 2004 I’ve become quite disappointed that eBay doesn’t appear to monitor or control these accounts, what’s the feeling here?

yes there does seem to be 3 or 4 for sure, all the budget stuff and old uk gear seems to pop up from several sellers , most of it is well overpriced anyway so i wouldnt be interested in bidding to start with, that seller with all those parkrider logans either swamped the market and made them nearly worthless or he was just bidding them all up with other accounts, as long as ebay get their cut theyre not bothered as its more money for them

i always make my listings private though as a lot of collectors dont want other folk to see what they have bought or how much they paid for it

Yeah I’m sure you’re right regarding eBay’s motives, they do appear to over look shrill bidding! I hardly ever now look at anything if there’s the slight possibility of inflated bids…..
Buying from the States or even the EU, with postage, duty and now tax……it’s near impossible to justify the final cost!
I’m looking regularly but often let things pass me by, definitely knowing my limit is essential!
I’ve been amazed at what’s been surfacing recently and do agree with you, surely the rarity decreases at each listing!
I suppose at the end of the day apart from private trades we’re stuck with eBay!

if you have to pay vat and import fees its barely worth the bother, you used to be able to save a few quid buying from the states but the prices some things are fetching over there at the moment is ridiculous,[see my link in an earlier post to those green kryps]its cheaper to buy over here [if you can find it ,that is]

I’m having a bit of a clear out , these 3 Dogtown & Z boys posters are going on eBay later but if anyone on here wants them let me know,

For reference the centre one is approx A4

Also found a box of mostly 70’s Skateboard mags some of which I’ll be putting up at some stage if you need any
